GAIB has announced that following an internal investigation, all tokens held by the team and core contributors remain locked. However, during the Token Generation Event (TGE), five wallets, each selling approximately 1 million GAIB tokens, were identified as belonging to external market institutions across various regions. These institutions were authorized to use the tokens solely for activity incentives and were prohibited from early sales. Despite this, some institutions violated the agreement by selling tokens during the TGE.
In response, GAIB has issued notices to the involved institutions, demanding a full buyback of the sold GAIB tokens, provision of on-chain buyback proof, and accountability for breach consequences. Due to the lack of a clear response from these institutions, GAIB has promptly initiated a buyback plan to repurchase the tokens sold in violation of the agreement.
