Franklin Templeton's two dividend reinvestment Bitcoin ETFs, FBEQ and FIBT, are set to launch with an SEC registration effective date of October 27. The funds automatically reinvest U.S. equity dividends into Bitcoin exposure rather than distributing income to investors, targeting approximately 95% U.S. equity allocation and 5% Bitcoin allocation.
FBEQ tracks a large-cap U.S. equity index covering roughly 500 companies and carries an annual management fee of 0.09%. FIBT follows an innovation-themed index composed of 100 U.S. companies with a 0.19% annual fee. Both products systematically convert equity dividends into additional Bitcoin exposure while maintaining Bitcoin as a secondary asset class. The October 27 date marks the registration effectiveness, not necessarily the first trading day.
