Sharon Zhou, former Vice President of AI at AMD, announced on X that she has joined Anthropic to return to frontier AI model research. Zhou had reported directly to AMD CEO Lisa Su after her responsibilities expanded in 2026. Zhou joined AMD in June 2025 along with team members from her startup Lamini, taking the VP of AI role overseeing AI research and related work before departing for Anthropic.
