The University of Florida football team signed a multi-year sponsorship agreement with blockchain company Ripple worth approximately $5 million annually. Starting with the game against Florida Atlantic, an XRP logo will appear on the turf at “The Swamp.” Ripple will receive on-site and digital exposure at the stadium and provide financial and technology education courses covering traditional finance and digital assets for student-athletes and the campus community. The NCAA has allowed corporate advertising on college football fields since 2024. Geico previously purchased on-field advertising space at the University of Florida’s home stadium for about $1 million per game.
