Flare has integrated D'CENT hardware wallets with its XRP yield vaults, allowing users to deposit FXRP directly without needing a separate Flare wallet or gas token. This integration simplifies access to Flare's yield vaults, which offer auto-compounding returns on FXRP deposits. The vaults, developed with Upshift and Clearstar, include strategies like XRP staking and liquidity provision.
Flare also announced the formation of the "XRP Alliance," a coalition aimed at enhancing XRP's role in decentralized finance. The initiative seeks to unite ecosystem participants to expand XRP's utility in DeFi. The Flare XRPFi vault quickly reached its 25 million XRP deposit cap, equivalent to $33.9 million, offering a 3.4% APY with waived fees for the first month. Over 5,400 users, many new to DeFi, participated through the Xaman wallet integration.
