Flare has successfully bridged 40 million XRP to its blockchain, establishing the largest XRP DeFi project to date. Announced by CEO Hugo Philion, the bridged XRP is valued at $96 million. This development is facilitated by Flare's FAssets system, which allows users to lock XRP and mint FXRP, a wrapped version for DeFi use. Currently, 39.54 million XRP are secured in Flare's vaults, with 40.11 million FXRP minted through 12,930 transactions. The system is supported by $22.69 million in collateral, comprising $15.72 million in FLR and $6.97 million in USDT. Philion highlighted this as a significant milestone, with potential for further XRP integration.
