However, interest in purchasing more or entering the market has decreased, dropping to 26% in 2024 from 33% in 2021. The survey, conducted between July and December 2024, included 2,861 US investors and 25,539 adults.
The study also notes a decline in risk tolerance, with high-risk investment behavior falling to 8% in 2024 from 12% in 2021. Younger investors under 35 experienced the most significant drop, with high-risk engagement decreasing to 15%. Additionally, only 8% of investors entered the market in the last two years through 2024, compared to 21% in 2021.
