Russian brokerage firm Finam has registered a cryptocurrency mining investment fund with the Russian Central Bank, with plans to commence trading of fund shares in the coming days. According to Finam's Chairman Vladislav Kochetkov, the fund is in the final stages of operational readiness and aims to introduce a series of investment products related to digital asset mining. The fund's computing infrastructure is located in the Alatyr District of the Republic of Mordovia, utilizing local natural gas infrastructure and distributed gas power generation to supply energy to mining machines, thereby reducing operational costs and enhancing efficiency.
