The breach allowed attackers to download a limited number of files, which have since been released by the hacking group ShinyHunters after Figure reportedly refused to pay a ransom. The leaked data includes customer names, addresses, dates of birth, and phone numbers. Figure has engaged a forensics firm to investigate the breach and is working to strengthen its security measures. The company is also offering free credit monitoring services to affected individuals. The attack is part of a broader campaign targeting companies using Okta's single sign-on services, with Harvard University and the University of Pennsylvania also reportedly affected.
