Privacy computing project Sunscreen has been acquired by Fhenix, as announced on July 3. Sunscreen, which has dedicated the past four years to applied cryptography research and development, expressed confidence in Fhenix's ability to advance fully homomorphic encryption (FHE) infrastructure. The acquisition will see the Sunscreen team integrate with Fhenix, continuing their work under the AGPL open-source license.
