South African crypto payments startup Ezeebit has raised $2.05 million in a seed funding round to enhance its stablecoin payment network in South Africa, Kenya, and Nigeria. The round was led by Raba Partnership, with participation from U.S.-based Founder Collective. The funds will be used to accelerate product development, increase merchant adoption, and strengthen partnerships with banks and telecom companies. Ezeebit, which offers instant stablecoin settlements with fees of 1% or less, has processed over 30,000 transactions since its 2023 launch.
