Experts forecast that most financial assets could be tokenized within the next five years, although achieving full tokenization in this period is seen as overly optimistic. The U.S., Hong Kong, Singapore, and the UAE are expected to lead this transformation, while many other markets still lack the necessary legal and trading infrastructure. Currently, the total value of on-chain real-world assets (RWA) stands at $33.91 billion, with 483,892 asset holders, reflecting growth but limited liquidity. Major financial institutions, including BlackRock, are actively exploring tokenization, yet secondary-market distribution remains a significant challenge.
