Exodus Movement, Inc. (EXOD) has announced its agreement to acquire W3C Corp, the parent company of payment firms Monavate and Baanx, for $175 million. This strategic acquisition, which is subject to regulatory approval, aims to enhance Exodus' self-custody wallet by integrating it with W3C's comprehensive payment infrastructure. D.A. Davidson & Co. served as the advisor for the transaction and facilitated a $60 million term loan to support the acquisition. This move is expected to bolster Exodus' position in the digital payment space by leveraging W3C's established payment solutions.
