A former Los Angeles Police Department officer and an Israeli fraud suspect have been accused of orchestrating a $350,000 cryptocurrency robbery in Los Angeles. The suspects allegedly targeted a 17-year-old's digital wallet, using a $250,000 Lamborghini Urus to impersonate police officers. They reportedly used LAPD-issued handcuffs and threatened the victim with gunshots and waterboarding before stealing a USB drive containing Bitcoin and other digital assets. Despite the presence of luxury watches and cash, these were left untouched. Both suspects have denied the charges and were denied bail.
