EthLabs, a research organization within the Ethereum ecosystem, is actively advancing its recruitment and fundraising efforts two weeks post-launch. The team aims to expand to approximately 10 members in the short term and 20 in the medium term, having already received over 300 applications. On the financial front, EthLabs has secured initial backing from Bitmine, Sharplink, and Joseph Lubin, and is seeking additional anchor funders. Technologically, EthLabs is focusing on enhancing asynchronous cross-chain interoperability using zk technology. This initiative aims to create more secure cross-chain bridges, encouraging issuers to distribute assets widely across networks. The organization is also monitoring improvements in L1-to-L2 link latency through the Fast Confirmation Rule and is engaged in discussions on PropAMM execution optimization on L1. Additionally, EthLabs is closely observing the governance dynamics of ENS, a vital component of Ethereum's infrastructure.
