Ethereum Foundation researchers announced that the Fusaka hard fork will go live on December 3. This backward-compatible upgrade will implement over ten Ethereum Improvement Proposals aimed at enhancing the sustainability, security, and scalability of the main chain and its surrounding layer-2 ecosystems. Fusaka will introduce PeerDAS technology, offering validators more efficient data access. Additionally, the upgrade will increase Ethereum's block gas limit from 30 million to 150 million units, potentially doubling blob capacity swiftly.
