Ethereum has announced that the Holešky testnet will be decommissioned two weeks after the completion of the Fusaka upgrade. Support for its clients, testing, and infrastructure will cease at that time. Since its launch in 2023, Holešky has been Ethereum's largest public testnet, but issues such as validator exit backlogs have rendered it unsuitable for continued use. In March, the team introduced the Hoodi testnet as a replacement to support future protocol upgrades, while developers are advised to transition to Sepolia.
