In a span of 48 hours, four separate attacks on Ethereum smart contracts have resulted in losses exceeding $1.5 million, according to GoPlus Security. The most significant breach involved the Onchain aggregator contract, which suffered a loss of approximately $983,000. Additionally, a third-party vault contract associated with TradingProtocol was exploited, leading to a $398,000 loss.
Other incidents included a reentrancy vulnerability in the BCB contract, causing a $39,800 loss, and a contract vulnerability that allowed arbitrary calls, resulting in a QNT asset loss of about $124,900. GoPlus Security highlighted the increasing precision and speed of hacker attacks, noting that AI technology is reducing vulnerability discovery times from days to seconds.
