Ethereum has achieved a new milestone in on-chain activity, processing 72.83 million transactions in April, marking its highest monthly total to date. The network also recorded nearly 22 million transactions in a single week, underscoring its growing role as a primary settlement layer in the crypto ecosystem. This surge is attributed to increased adoption of tokenized real-world assets (RWA) and stablecoins, with RWA transfers reaching $21.61 billion. The rise in Ethereum's transaction volume is linked to expanding institutional participation and the proliferation of decentralized applications. The number of stablecoin holders has grown by nearly 2%, surpassing 22.5 million users, reflecting a shift towards practical blockchain use cases. Despite a slight daily price pullback of 1.56%, Ethereum's price remains resilient at $2,345, supported by strong network demand and reduced exchange supply.
