Ethereum has attracted 16,181 new developers from January to September 2025, surpassing Solana and Bitcoin, according to data from Electric Capital and the Ethereum Foundation. During this period, Ethereum also recorded 31,869 active contributors, highlighting its strong developer ecosystem. In comparison, Solana and Bitcoin added 11,534 and 7,494 new developers, respectively. The data, which includes deduplication to prevent double-counting across projects, underscores Ethereum's continued appeal to the developer community.
