Activation dates for the Hoodi testnet and mainnet remain undetermined. Glamsterdam combines the execution-layer Amsterdam upgrade and consensus-layer Gloas upgrade, introducing enshrined proposer-builder separation and block-level access lists to improve L1 throughput. The upgrade also adjusts gas metering to better reflect execution and state growth costs. Node operators must update both execution and consensus layer clients before activation, and contracts relying on fixed gas assumptions may require modification.
