The Ethereum Foundation has announced the formation of a dedicated post-quantum team to advance its research into practical engineering applications. Led by Thomas Coratger, with support from leanVM cryptographer Emile, the team aims to prioritize post-quantum security as a strategic focus for the Ethereum network. This initiative marks a shift from theoretical research to active engineering, including bi-weekly developer conferences on post-quantum transactions and the development of a multi-client post-quantum consensus test network.
