The Ethereum Foundation is enhancing its educational partnerships in Argentina, with the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) launching a new research center focused on cryptography and distributed systems. This initiative, established in early November, is supported by a $1 million donation from Lambda Class, with $250,000 earmarked for scholarships. The center will conduct interdisciplinary research in blockchain, mathematics, computer science, and fintech. Additionally, Ethereum Foundation co-executive director Tomasz Stańczak announced plans for an educational program across multiple Argentine universities. Starting in 2026, students at Estación Buenos Aires school will receive blockchain technology credentials certified by the Ethereum Foundation, including courses on Solidity, the smart contract development language.
