The Ethereum Foundation's latest development brief, "Checkpoint #9," reveals that the Glamsterdam upgrade is delayed due to the complexity of implementing ePBS (in-protocol PBS). Developers plan to launch the first generalized development network next week. The subsequent Hegotá upgrade will feature FOCIL (EIP-7805) as its primary consensus layer feature, with non-headlining proposals opening on April 9. Additionally, testnets are actively verifying a 60M gas limit target. Glamsterdam and Hegotá follow the Pectra and Fusaka hard fork upgrades.
