Ethereum developers have tentatively scheduled the Glamsterdam upgrade activation on the Sepolia testnet for October 6 at 13:53 UTC, subject to the stability of ongoing tests. The timing could be delayed if Devnet-10 remains unstable. Devnet-9, which includes 1,000 validator nodes, still cannot complete finalization normally. Developers previously identified a major consensus-layer vulnerability on Devnet-8 and issues with execution-layer EIP-8037 that require client implementation updates. Dates for the Hoodi testnet and Ethereum mainnet upgrades remain undecided, although developers still aim for a December mainnet launch.
