Ethereum's Executive Core Developers have decided to exclude EIP 7907 from the upcoming Fusaka upgrade, maintaining the current smart contract code size limit. This decision was made during the 216th ACDE meeting, with the possibility of re-proposing the EIP for the Glamsterdam hard fork, though its inclusion is uncertain. Tim Beiko outlined a tentative schedule for Fusaka's mainnet launch, starting with a client public testnet release in late August, followed by testnet upgrades in September and October. Developers also plan to launch Fusaka Devnet-3 on July 23. For the Glamsterdam hard fork, developers have reached a consensus on the planned implementations but are still deliberating key issues such as the proposer-builder separation mechanism. A final decision on the core code changes is expected after further community consultation within the next two to four weeks.
