Ethereum core developers have made significant progress in their latest All Core Developers Testing (ACDT 71) meeting. The Blob-Devnet-0 now supports Lighthouse and Prysm, with Lodestar expected to be ready by Thursday and Grandine by next week. Teku is also advancing. The Bal-Devnet-3, part of the Glamsterdam execution layer testnet, is scheduled to launch on March 4. Developers have agreed to hardcode EIP-8037 static tests and reference the EELS repository. Parithosh highlighted the addition of new Engine API endpoints to enhance debugging. Additionally, the Epbs-Devnet-0, the Glamsterdam consensus layer testnet, is also set for a March 4 launch. Lodestar and Lighthouse have achieved interoperability, aiming to support 3-4 consensus layer clients. The Gas Limit test focuses on Glamsterdam Gas repricing EIP benchmarks. Perf-Devnet-2 has resumed operations, with Erigon conducting snapshot analysis post-synchronization, and plans to restart and adjust validator key distribution to identify more performance bottlenecks.
