Elemental founder Moo has publicly criticized Drift Protocol for its inadequate handling of a recent security incident. Moo highlighted the protocol's insufficient multi-signature security standards and the management's lack of public response, which he claims have resulted in significant user fund losses and damaged trust in the DeFi sector. Moo noted that some users have opted to exit DeFi, moving their funds back to traditional banking systems.
In response, blockchain investigator ZachXBT alleged that Elemental had employed North Korean IT workers for several years, revealing related identity information and addresses.
