Ekubo Protocol has implemented a white hat operation to safeguard approximately $284,000 following a vulnerability in its Huff Router. The team deployed a rescue contract that utilizes token flash loans to automatically use users' authorized amounts to repay loans, effectively mitigating risks associated with unrevoked ERC20 authorizations. This operation, which does not require user intervention, has significantly reduced the remaining authorization risks in three vulnerable mainnet router deployments.
