Einride’s founding team has launched venture capital firm Navisalma, with plans to invest 5 billion Swedish kronor, or about $530 million, in deep-tech startups over the next three years. The firm will focus on areas including energy systems and robotics, and aims to help create at least 10 unicorns over the next decade.
Navisalma was founded by Einride CEO Robert Falck, Linnéa Kornehed Falck and former McKinsey partner Robert Westerdahl. Its first fundraising round targets more than 400 million Swedish kronor, with some commitments coming from well-known Swedish entrepreneurs. The firm has already invested in Abundry, a startup that uses artificial intelligence to optimize energy systems.
