Ebang International, a Nasdaq-listed cryptocurrency mining company, has announced that its subsidiary has won a bid for an industrial land parcel in Xinghe County, Ulanqab City, Inner Mongolia. The company plans to establish a high-efficiency amorphous and nanocrystalline new material production base on this site.
The project aims to capitalize on Inner Mongolia's abundant wind power and photovoltaic resources, alongside favorable clean energy policies. The production base will focus on developing high-magnetic-induction, ultra-low-loss materials that comply with the latest U.S. Department of Energy transformer energy efficiency standards. These materials are intended for use in photovoltaic systems, energy storage, new energy power conversion equipment, and smart data centers.
