Digital advertising startup EarnOS has successfully closed a $6 million pre-Series A funding round, spearheaded by 1kx, with additional investments from Coinbase Ventures, Circle Ventures, and Social Graph Ventures. The company is preparing to launch its app, "ero," in the United States, Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom. The app is designed to authenticate web traffic, minimize bot-related waste, and incentivize genuine digital interactions. In addition to the funding round, EarnOS has obtained a four-year, $12.5 million non-dilutive strategic investment from Verona, formerly known as XION. Verona will support the ero app by managing its global verification, registration, and reward distribution processes.
