Dunamu, the operator of Upbit, reported a significant decline in its financial performance for the first quarter of 2026. The company's consolidated revenue fell to approximately $157 million, marking a 55% decrease compared to the same period last year. Operating profit also plummeted by 78% to around $59 million, while net profit dropped to approximately $46.6 million, also down 78% year-on-year.
Dunamu attributed the downturn to a global economic slowdown and reduced trading volumes in the virtual asset market. The company highlighted these factors as key contributors to the substantial decline in its financial results.
