Drift Foundation has announced a proposal to allocate $9 million to support Drift Labs operations through DIP-9. The funding plan includes a monthly allocation of $1.5 million to cover essential expenses such as engineering, subscriptions, and gas costs. This initial funding is expected to sustain operations until mid-2026, after which monthly disbursements will continue for 18 months. The proposal comes as the protocol has generated $42 million in cumulative fees. Voting on the proposal begins on December 24, 2025, with a planned execution period of two years.
