Canadian rapper Drake has been named in a RICO class-action lawsuit filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. The lawsuit accuses Drake, along with popular streamer Adin Ross, of using the "tipping" feature of the crypto casino Stake to obscure financial transactions and fund music botting activities, allegedly violating the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO).
The lawsuit, initiated by Stakeus users, claims that Stake operates as an illegal online gambling platform under the guise of a "social casino," circumventing U.S. gambling regulations. The plaintiffs are seeking damages of no less than $5 million.
