AI influencer factory Doublespeed has suffered another security breach, with hackers attempting to exploit its backend system to spread anti-a16z memes. The attack, reported on April 14, involved the use of Doublespeed's client accounts to disseminate images labeling a16z as "antichrist" and claiming to have stolen 47MB of data. Despite the breach, no unauthorized posts were published. Doublespeed, which operates AI-generated influencer accounts on TikTok, received a $1 million investment from a16z's Speedrun accelerator last year. Co-founder Zuhair Lakhani stated that the compromised system was outdated and has since been secured. This marks the second breach for Doublespeed, following a December 2025 incident that exposed over 400 TikTok accounts. The company plans to expand its operations to X and Instagram, despite its business model conflicting with Meta's policies.
