The euro fell to 1.1882 U.S. dollars from 1.1894, while the British pound dropped to 1.3637 U.S. dollars from 1.3666. The Japanese yen weakened to 152.83 per dollar from 154.49. Meanwhile, the Swiss franc and Canadian dollar saw slight increases against the dollar, with the franc at 0.7703 and the Canadian dollar at 1.3561. The Swedish krona also declined to 8.8813 per dollar from 8.9021.
