The outlook for digital asset trusts (DATs) is becoming increasingly uncertain as the market for digital assets continues to weaken. Industry leaders are cautioning about potential liquidations by 2026. Altan Tutar, CEO of MoreMarkets, highlighted that DAT stock prices have declined following market corrections, with many altcoin-focused firms at risk of falling below their minimum net asset value (mNAV). Ryan Chow from Solv Protocol warned that firms lacking yield strategies might not survive the next market downturn. Meanwhile, Vincent Chok of First Digital pointed out that crypto ETFs have emerged as strong competitors, prompting DATs to consider adopting more traditional financial infrastructure to remain competitive.
