DeFiLlama co-founder 0xngmi has announced that the platform will exclude Aster's perpetual contract trading volume from its data until further notice. This decision follows an investigation revealing that Aster's trading volume closely mirrors that of Binance's perpetual contracts, with the XRPUSDT trading volume ratio between Aster and Binance being approximately 1:1. Aster has been unable to provide detailed data on order placements and executions, which is necessary to verify the presence of wash-trading. Until such data is available, DeFiLlama will not display Aster's perpetual contract volumes.
