Defiance has announced the closure and liquidation of its Nasdaq-listed Ethereum exchange-traded fund, the Defiance Leveraged Long & Yield Ethereum ETF (ETHI), after just four months of trading. The decision, reported on January 17th, also includes the closure of seven other leveraged long & yield ETFs: PLT, HOOI, SMCC, AMDU, HIMY, TRIL, and LLYZ. This move marks a significant shift in Defiance's ETF offerings, impacting a range of investment products.
