These roles will be integral to the development of the "DeepSeek Desktop Agent" product, focusing on integrating model and harness functionalities. The job postings emphasize that the Harness will manage engineering tasks outside the model, such as context management and terminal execution. This move follows the independent launch of the open-source terminal project DeepSeek-TUI by the developer community.
