Decentralized exchange Decibel has announced the launch of its testnet next month, with plans for the mainnet to go live in early 2026. The announcement was made at the Aptos Experience event on October 16. Developed by the Aptos Labs team, Decibel aims to deliver a high-performance on-chain trading engine that includes spot trading, perpetual contracts, lending, and vaults. The platform will support cross-chain accounts and encrypted mempools to enhance privacy and transaction efficiency. Decibel will utilize the Aptos network's high throughput and low latency, targeting millions of transactions per second. The platform will also collaborate with Gauntlet to create a multi-collateral vault system, aiming to improve capital efficiency and liquidity.
