Decibel, a fully on-chain perpetuals protocol on the Aptos blockchain, is advancing a high-performance decentralized exchange (DEX), according to a Messari report. The DEX will feature on-chain order matching, risk management, and settlement, utilizing a Unified Margin system for enhanced capital efficiency. Decibel leverages Aptos' Block-STM parallel execution engine for high-throughput, low-latency trading.
The platform introduces a native collateral asset, USDCBL, converting USDC deposits to leverage reserve asset yields. The mainnet Beta, launching soon, will initially support 12 trading pairs, expanding to 50. In Q1 2026, multi-asset collateralization and RWA perpetual contracts will be introduced, with spot trading and DeFi yield integration planned for Q2.
