Binance Co-CEO Richard Teng confirmed that Changpeng Zhao (CZ), despite stepping down, continues to influence major decisions at Binance due to his status as a major shareholder. In an interview with Bloomberg Television, Teng explained that this arrangement is typical for large corporations. He emphasized that daily operations remain unchanged, with Teng and fellow Co-CEO Yi He collaborating closely with the board of directors, which now includes seven members, three of whom are independent directors, along with an independent chairman. Teng highlighted Yi He's consistent key role as co-founder and their effective teamwork over the years.
