Cysic has issued a settlement proposal to an attacker who minted 10 million CYS tokens without authorization, demanding the return of 275.872 ETH within 72 hours of the on-chain announcement. The amount represents approximately 90% of confirmed ETH proceeds from the exploit.
In exchange, the attacker may retain roughly 30.652 ETH as a bug bounty. Cysic stated it has reconstructed key stages of the attack and preserved technical and on-chain evidence. If funds are not returned within the deadline, the project will escalate the matter and seek law enforcement involvement for a full criminal investigation.
