CryptoQuant CEO Ki Young Ju has forecasted a potential parabolic surge for Bitcoin, contingent on increased institutional investment. In a recent post, he highlighted the declining capital efficiency in Bitcoin's market, noting that while $2.7 billion in net inflows in 2011 led to a 55,436% increase, the current cycle's $697 billion has only yielded a 689% return. Ju emphasized that for Bitcoin to experience another significant bull market, it must transition into a core macro asset with deeper institutional allocation, beyond its current status as a retail-driven ETF product. He suggested that if Bitcoin can achieve a realized market cap exceeding $1 trillion, a parabolic rally remains possible, drawing a comparison to gold's $27 trillion market cap.
