The number of global crypto millionaires has increased by 40% year-over-year, reaching 241,700 by mid-2025, according to Henley & Partners' Crypto Wealth Report 2025. This surge is attributed to Bitcoin's price rally, which helped push the total cryptocurrency market cap to over $3.3 trillion, marking a 45% rise since June 2024. The report highlights that 145,100 individuals now hold at least $1 million in Bitcoin, a 70% increase from the previous year. Additionally, the report reveals that 450 individuals possess at least $100 million in cryptocurrency, reflecting a 38% rise, while the number of crypto billionaires has grown to 36, a 29% increase. The growth in crypto wealth is further supported by increased institutional adoption, with U.S. regulators approving spot Bitcoin and Ether ETFs, alongside new crypto initiatives from the U.S. President and First Lady.
