The cryptocurrency market experienced significant liquidations totaling $525 million over the past 24 hours, with long positions bearing the brunt of the impact. According to CoinGlass data, $387 million of the liquidations were from long positions, while short positions accounted for $137 million.
Bitcoin (BTC) saw liquidations amounting to $186 million, with $175 million from long positions. Ethereum (ETH) followed with $102 million in liquidations, including $88.3 million from long positions. Solana (SOL) recorded $19 million in liquidations, predominantly from long positions at $18.2 million.
