The cryptocurrency market experienced significant liquidations totaling $426 million in the past 24 hours, with long positions bearing the brunt, according to CoinGlass data. Long-position liquidations accounted for $304 million, while short positions saw $123 million in liquidations.
Bitcoin (BTC) led the liquidations with $126 million, including $85.63 million from long positions. Ethereum (ETH) followed with $93.67 million in liquidations, and Solana (SOL) saw $14.14 million. A total of 111,791 traders were liquidated, with the largest single liquidation occurring on Hyperliquid’s BTC-USD trading pair, valued at $4.35 million.
