Crypto markets resumed their upward trend on Aug. 25, with the Layer 2 sector leading gains, up 3.02% in the past 24 hours. Polygon (POL) rose 8.50%, Stacks (STX) gained 4.76%, and Mantle (MNT) added 2.82%.
Bitcoin (BTC) climbed 3.22% and briefly touched $80,000, while Ethereum (ETH) rose 2.38% and moved back above $2,500 during the session. Other sectors also advanced, including Layer 1 up 2.21%, CeFi up 2.08%, PayFi up 1.97%, and Meme up 0.44%. DeFi slipped 0.27%, though Ondo Finance (ONDO) still rose 5.80%.
